This Saturday, during the 5 PM Mass we will celebrate the Sacrament of Confirmation with our 8th Graders. Please join us to welcome Bishop David Talley to our parish and support our young people. Come, Holy Spirit!

Weekend Masses will be celebrated as usual in the church (Saturday 5 PM, Sunday 8:30 and 11 AM). Confessions will be at 4 PM on Saturday.  However, there will be no faith formation for children, teens, or adults. And no coffee/donuts or social after Mass. Celebrate the Feast of the Epiphany by bringing a gift for Baby Jesus! We are colleting Coats, Sweaters, and Hoodies for the guests at Catholic Charities. All sizes welcome, but mens and boys most needed. New or gently used and laundered welcome. Please bring your gifts on January 6 or 7 to Mass and place in the baskets in the West Tower. Thank you!

Thank you to everyone that made our Angel Tree a success again this year. Your generosity provided gifts for 120 children who may not have had anything under the tree this year. Catholic Charities is grateful for the contributions of "time and treasure" that St Peter's dedicates to the "Gifts for God's Children" program. This is truly a work of stewardship and evangelization.

Advent wreaths will be blessed during all weekend Masses, Dec. 2-3. All invited to bring their home Advent wreaths to be blessed. For those who do not yet have an Advent wreath, Advent wreath making supplies will be available. Families may make a wreath before or after Mass. All children, teens and parents are invited! We will be making Christmas Cards for our parishioners who are homebound or ill, and assembling hygiene kits for Catholic Charities. 10:00 AM in the Parish Hall. Please bring a coat, sweater, or hoodie to be donated to guests at Catholic Charities. Men's and boys' most needed but all sizes welcome! The Christmas Eve Family Mass will be Sunday, December 24 at 5:00 p.m. and there are many ways for children and teens to be involved: Shepherds and Angels: Boys and girls, Grades 4+. Rehearsal will be Sunday, Dec. 17. Children’s Choir: Ages 4-10. Rehearsals: Sundays, Dec. 3, 10, 17 after Mass. Adult Faith Formation Study on Bishop Barron's book, This Is My Body: A Call to Eucharistic Revival Sunday mornings at 9:45. Sept. 17, 24, Oct. 1. Join us for a discussion on Bishop Barron’s new little book about the Eucharist. You don’t have to read ahead, and it’s okay to come if you can’t attend all the session. Books available for free.
