Congratulations to our new and expectant parents! In seeking Baptism for your child, you make a public promise to journey with your child and to be the first teachers in our faith. Our parish community commits to supporting you in nurturing the faith of your child.
First time parents are expected to attend Baptismal preparation sessions. We offer in-person sessions as well as remote. For the remote sessions, parents watch the baptism videos online, and then we gather for discussion via phone or Zoom. You are welcome to participate in Baptism preparation before your child is born.
When a child (ages 2+) is being baptized, we invite the child to be part of the baptism preparation process, as appropriate for their age. Please contact Christina at [email protected] for more information.
To register for a baptismal preparation session or for more information, please contact the church office at 527-8282 or [email protected].
Baptism is the sacrament that welcomes your child into the Church, and children are usually baptized during one of the regular weekend Masses (Saturday 5:00 PM, Sunday 8:30, or 11:00 AM) so that the parish community may join in the prayer and welcoming of the child.
To schedule your child’s Baptism, contact the church office at 527-8282. Baptisms must be scheduled at least 4 weeks in advance. (Please note that certain Masses may not be available for Baptisms, for instance during Lent.)
