Catechesis of the Good Shepherd

ATRIUM SESSIONS AT ST. PETER

Due to COVID-19, we are not having regular atrium sessions this spring. We hope to resume atrium sessions for all ages in September.

THE GOOD SHEPHERD AND THE CHILD: A JOYFUL JOURNEY BOOK STUDY

Thursdays at 9:30 AMThis user-friendly book for parents, grandparents and catechists is an excellent introduction to Catechesis of the Good Shepherd, prayer and spirituality of the young child. We meet via Zoom on Thursday mornings at 9:30. All are invited to join, and it’s okay if you haven’t participated in previous sessions. Contact Christina at [email protected] for the Zoom link.

LIFE IN THE VINE: THE JOYFUL JOURNEY CONTINUES BOOK STUDY

Saturdays at 9:30 AM Newly published on January 6, 2021, Life in the Vine is the long-anticipated companion to The Religious Potential of the Child 6-12 Years Old. In Life in the Vine: The Joyful Journey Continues, author Rebekah Rojcewicz documents the decades of work and the journeys that catechists and older children six to twelve years old have made with Jesus the True Vine. This book offers insight and clarity to the essential nature of six- to twelve-year-old children and the joy of living Life on the True Vine with them. For parents, catechists and those who seek to take seriously Jesus’ challenge “to change and become like children” (Matthew 18:3), his book serves as an invitation to same joyful journey.
Saturdays, February 6th – March 6th, 9:30 – 11 AM via Zoom. Open to all, this is an excellent way to learn more about Catechesis of the Good Shepherd work with children ages 6+. For more information, or to sign up, contact Christina at [email protected].
