Holy Week Schedule

March 12, 2015

Palm Sunday (March 28,29)

  • Masses at 5 PM (Saturday) , 8:30 and 11:00 AM (Sunday)
  • Weather permitting we will gather outside in front of the church for the blessing of palms.
  • 10 AM Annual Ecumenical Service of Prayers for the City
  • Meet at Calvary Episcopal and process down to City Hall, accompanied by the Wolf River Pipes and Drums.
  • Sacred Paschal Triduum

Holy Thursday (April 2)

  • Mass of the Lord’s Supper at 7 PM
  • Nursery Available
  • Following the liturgy, the Shrine Chapel will remain open for Adoration until 10 PM.

Good Friday (April 3)

  • Good Friday Liturgy at 12 Noon
  • Nursery Available
  • Following the liturgy, the church will remain open for prayer for one hour.

Easter Vigil (April 4)

  • Mass begins at 7:30 PM in the Courtyard for the Lighting of the Easter Fire and Paschal Candle.
  • During this Mass, we will welcome new members into the Church as we celebrate the Easter sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation and Eucharist.
  • Nursery Available
  • Following the liturgy, all are invited to a reception in the Parish Hall.

Easter Sunday (April 5)

  • Masses at 8:30 and 11:00
  • Nursery available (priority ages 2 and under)
  • Blessing of the Easter Baskets for Children at both Masses
  • Easter Egg Hunt following the 8:30 Mass.
  • Bunny Breakfast in the Parish Hall 9:30-11:00
  • Children’s Liturgy of the Word at the 11:00 Mass
  • Overflow Seating available in the Choir Room during the 11:00
