Lenten Scripture Challenge: Read the Gospel of Mark
The Bible has four Gospels (the books that tell about the life of Jesus). Mark was the first one written and is also the shortest. Use the chart below to read the whole book this Lent!

Hallow: Catholic Prayer and Meditation App
This Lent, we are pleased to offer free access to Hallow Plus through Easter Sunday. Hallow is a Catholic prayer and meditation app, great for praying alone or together with your spouse/family. More information and sign up here.
FAST
Ash Wednesday (February 17,) and Good Friday (April 2) are obligatory days of fasting and abstinence for Catholics. In addition, Fridays during Lent are obligatory days of abstinence. Fasting is for healthy adults age 18-59. Abstinence from meat is for healthy teens and adults ages 14+. Those that are excused from fast and abstinence (outside the age limits) include the physically or mentally ill and individuals suffering from chronic illnesses (such as diabetes) and pregnant or nursing women. In all cases, common sense should prevail, and ill persons should not further jeopardize their health by fasting.
