Many of our infirmed and homebound parishioners greatly desire a connection with our parish and to be remembered when we gather for worship. We need volunteers with gifts of service to help us minister to our parishioners who are not able to join us on Sunday. The Christmas Eve Family Mass will be Tuesday, December 24 at 5:00 p.m. and there are many ways for children and teens to be involved at our Family Mass! Please see below for details and sign up information.
We are excited that our Nursery Toddler Atrium is blessed with children! Unfortunately, we do not always have room for all of our parish toddlers during the atrium session hour. In order to make this time more comfortable for parents with very small children, we have set up a baby/toddler family area in the corner of the Parish Hall. St. Peter Christmas Choir will sing on Christmas Eve: Lessons and Carols at 10:30 PM and Mass at 11 PM. All singers ages 14+ welcome! Rehearsals on Wednesdays evenings 7:00 - 8:30 PM. The Faith Formation Team is exploring a possible adult Bible study and/or atrium session for young children (ages 1+) on a weekday morning. If you , your child, or grandchild might be interested, please contact Christina at [email protected].
On Sunday, October 27, all children are invited to dress in costume of their favorite saint. Children will receive a special blessing during Mass, and will have a chance to share about their saint during atrium sessions and/or Children's Liturgy of the Word.
On Sunday, Nov. 10, our 11 a.m. Mass will be a special "Family Mass" with our children and teens invited to serve in liturgical ministries! We are looking for the following: Ushers and Lectors (Teens in Grades 7-12), Gift Bearers (1 family any age), Children's Choir (Children ages 3 - 11) If your son or daughter or family would like to serve in one of these ministries, please contact Christina at [email protected] or Heather at [email protected].

This summer at St. Peter we are offering CGS training for catechists and catechist assistants in our parish at a variety of times. In addition the Good Shepherd Center is offering an Atrium Assistant Workshop on Monday, July 8 at 9:30 a.m. This workshop is for catechists and assistants working with children ages 2-12 and will meet at St. Agnes Academy-St. Dominic School.
