St. Peter Church focuses our ministry with adolescents on three essential goals:
On Sunday mornings at 9:30, students in grades seven through twelve participate in youth Bible studies and faith formation. In addition, middle and high school teens gather for fellowship and prayer and service at various times during the month.
All parish youth are encouraged to participate in liturgical ministries as altar servers, lectors, singers, musicians, ushers, greeters, giftbearers, and Eucharistic Ministers (18+)

Sundays during 11 Mass – Children’s Liturgy of the Word (year-round) Read the Scripture readings, break open the Word, pray with children ages 3-10. High School preferred. Sundays at 9:45 – Catechist Assistant or “Shadow” (September – May only) Help with younger children or children with special needs in the atrium. High School preferred
Our high school teens gather for Wednesday evening dinners (at a variety of locations). In addition, they meet on Sunday mornings (Sept - May) for study, prayer and fellowship. For more information, please contact Christina at [email protected].
7th and 8th graders meet on Sunday mornings at 9:30, September – May. Most of the year is focused on preparing for Confirmation over a two year process. After Confirmation, the 8th graders move downstairs to the youth room to meet with the high school youth. For more information, please contact Christina Klyce at [email protected]
